lunch: leftover black bean and potato soup; leftover roasted asparagus and brussels sprouts; roasted butternut squash; 2 bananas

dinner at pho viet: I ordered vegetarian pho, which they told me was a vegetable based broth. the broth was very salt and I am pretty sure there were pieces of meat in it. the people were very nice and I would like to go back again, but I wouldn’t order the pho. I would get something without broth so that there hopefully wouldn’t be meat pieces in my dish.

lunch: matzah pizza with vegan cheese; equal exchange dark chocolate

dinner: fennel, blood orange, and apple salad; carrot, raisin, orange salad; quinoa cooked in vegetable broth; lentil and spinach with smoked paprika; roasted beets and sweet potatoes with rosemary; stir-fried radishes

lunch at bread and brew: Match Meat Pulled Pork sandwich with coleslaw and Caesar salad (I am fairly confident that they messed up and the Caesar salad was not vegan, or vegetarian. I ate most of the salad and then got an overwhelming taste of fish in my mouth- grossss)

dinner at thaitanic II: Thai Tanic Lemongrass  (sauteed chicken tofu with chili, garlic, lemongrass, bell peppers, and fresh basil in chef’s special sauce)- Be sure to specify no animal products including fish and oyster sauce. This is a very good meal, but expensive; mango and sticky rice (steamed sticky rice tossed with sweetened coconut milk and served with mango)

snack: popcorn with oil and salt

snack: perfect pairing- oreos dipped in coffee with soymilk; pickle

crazy dinner deal from friday at sweetgreen ($10 worth of food for $1): sabzi salad (baby spinach with spicy quinoa, white beans, raw beets, radish, basil, sprouts, dried cranberries; topped with a carrot chili vinaigrette) with red pepper added in- well, except it went bad. i ate a few bite and had to get rid of it.

crazy lunch deals ($20 worth of food at Kababji Grill for $1): vegetarian kibbeh (crushed wheat mixed with mashed pumpkin, stuffed with spinach, chickpeas, and minced onion)- not great. it’s really fried; portabella mushroom pita sandwich(grilled portabella mushroom marinated in extra-viring olive oil, wrapped in pita, romaine lettuce, tomatoes and garlic paste)

snack: oreos

drinks at nooshi: sapporo (vegan according to barnivore); white rice with soy sauce; vanilla mojito

dessert: chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting from hello cupcake
