dinner at pho viet: I ordered vegetarian pho, which they told me was a vegetable based broth. the broth was very salt and I am pretty sure there were pieces of meat in it. the people were very nice and I would like to go back again, but I wouldn’t order the pho. I would get something without broth so that there hopefully wouldn’t be meat pieces in my dish.

dinner at thaitanic II: Thai Tanic Lemongrass (sauteed chicken tofu with chili, garlic, lemongrass, bell peppers, and fresh basil in chef’s special sauce)- Be sure to specify no animal products including fish and oyster sauce. This is a very good meal, but expensive; mango and sticky rice (steamed sticky rice tossed with sweetened coconut milk and served with mango)
snack: popcorn with oil and salt
breakfast: cereal with soymilk; coffee
