leftovers: whole wheat gnocchi with asparagus-white bean sauce, asparagus, peas, black olives; grapefruit

live oak ipa at the gingerman

carrot; banana chocolate chip muffins

    did you make the gnocchi and sauce? you say it’s leftovers, but i don’t see the first time you had it. the sauce sounds amazing.

    you probably can’t find it because i’ve been eating this food for a week and am so sick of it! the gnocchi was sweet potato whole wheat gnocchi i bought at fiesta, and the sauce was from the book ’1000 vegan recipes’ (same one the mac & cheese is from). however, it was one of those situations where i had the plan and the ingredients but couldn’t find time to cook, and i ended up doing things like one step per day over a bunch of days, and in the end i realized i forgot to ever cook the asparagus!! so i’m not sure if really following the recipe would have turned out better, but my results were not as creamy as the recipe led me to believe. it was more like a puree. it wasn’t bad, but i was really glad to finish the last of it tonight.
