honey os with ricemilk. oj.
vietnamese sandwich. weird drink thingie, this one with mung beans and coconut milk.
leftover scone from chicago diner that i found in my backpack. i ate a tiny bit of this during one of my blackout days from earlier this week. they sell them at whole foods, but as i find is often the case with chicago diner stuff in retail situations, it was kinda stale and not worth the money.
leftover vegan pizza and pasta with peanut sauce.

CREATE A “HONEY” TAG SO I KNOW WHICH POSTS I SHOULD JUDGE
I REALIZE THE IRONY OF A FEW MEMBERS CALLING EACH OTHER “HONEY,” BUT I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT THAT
JUDGE JUDGE JUDGE JUDGE

I realize I never answered your question about honey. You’re right, that was the first time I had honey this year (twice in Austin, both in alcohol… a homemade mead and a Shiner variety). I somewhat arbitrarily started avoiding honey for the sake of the blog and making it more accessible to non-honey vegans (since we have sooo many readers, you know). Then I decided that was a sort of stupid reason, particularly when actually presented with someone asking me if I ate honey (which hadn’t happened until John asked me if I wanted to try the mead). But now I’m thinking a lot about it, partly because I had a negative reaction to hearing that confectioner’s glaze is excreted by an insect.
